The Hotel and its unique parts - The Best Western Museumhotels Delft is a hotel located in 12 medieval (canal) houses and patrician houses. In the middle of the historical city centre of Delft. The hotel is divided in 3 unique parts named: The Gallery, The Residence and The Museumhotel. Every part has its own identity located next to each other.

Facilities - During your stay you can enjoy a Dutch breakfast buffet with fresh rolls every day. Bar “the Full Moon” is open for a drink or a small snack before the evening starts in Delft. Also our newest movie system and digital free internet facility in the rooms have a lot to offer.

Situation and attainability - Because of its central situation between the main Dutch cities, Delft can be reached very easily by public – or your own means of – transport. Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is 30 km from Delft, Amsterdam city centre approximately 40 km. away. Within 10 km. from Delft lie the beaches of Den Haag and Scheveningen or the famous Rotterdam harbour.

Museum and Hotel?! - The hotel owns his name because of 2 permanent art collections which are exposed in the hotel. “Nowadays Delft Blue” from Dora Dolz and “the Imagination of the Zodiac” from Katinka Roovers. Both collections have a relationship with ceramics. Also paintings of Chris Stevens and aquarelles of Marijke Boomsma defines the public area’s of the hotel. You will find all art objects in the public area’s and rooms of the hotel.

Delft and surroundings - Delft got his privileges in 1246. The medieval structure is still recognizable in the old part of the centre of Delft. In the “Golden Century” Delft was a rich city with lots of merchants, a VOC-room, famous scientists and painters like Johannes Vermeer. The past revives when you walk through this town along old canals, bridges, patrician houses, big churches, intimate courts, small alleys and a magnificent market square. The character and monumental buildings in different styles are still in tact. Delft is famous due to its cosy, historical centre. There are interesting shops, galleries, cafés and restaurants with cosy terraces and terrace boats. You can explore Delft in many ways. With a boat trip or a horse tram, but also by foot. Every Thursday there is a merchandise market and every Saturday an antique market.
