In the spirit of Gauguin, Van Gogh, and a host of impressionist artists who decided to look at the world through a new set of artist's eyes and inspired by travel and adventure, has our program been developed.

Artists gain inspiration from looking to other artists and the unique characteristics that a change in venue brings. Just the mere fact that light reflects and shimmers on a medieval cathedral or casts long blue shadows across some ancient street of a distant land, so differently than many of us are accustom to, is reason enough for an artist or art enthusiast to travel and be inspired.

Our tours have been developed after many long hours with like minded individuals and companies who realize that workshops are preordained to instruct proven, successful artistic techniques and that any discovery, growth, and inspiration after the workshop is left to the artist themselves. We believe that the catalyst to artistic growth comes from discovery, observation, and immersing oneself in an artistic experience totally diverse from the normality's of the artists' everyday life.

Our artist tours are specifically developed through the resources of an American Artist and art enthusiasts in both America and other countries. The American Artist on staff has spent countless hours traveling the world with other groups on a mission of artistic visual discovery and realized the importance and impact such an experience would have on other artists. Such was the birth of Artist Tours Group.

We attempt to use ground coordinators from the country that we are visiting, who have spent many hours locating special regions in their beloved country for our artistic participants to visit. We welcome all artists and art enthusiasts to our tours, whether they would like to observe the creative process, or as a seasoned professional looking for inspiration in unique, breathtaking locations.

Art Instruction, Advise, Guidance and Critiques will be offered on an individual and elective basis to all attending artists. We are emphasizing self-artistic discovery and international artistic fellowship.
